Half Way There

Buffs goal this season, after moving ground, was to get 30 points and avoid relegation.

Totally over the moon with the management and squad, 3 losses in 18 games.

Phase 2 about to begin at the ground and can’t compliment to committee and volunteers highly enough for their efforts this year

You can't be over the moon with the results and performances in the last two games surely?

Really, you being facetious or perhaps a wee dig at Jimmy Kirkwood?

Kirkwood isn’t the only one that’s said it, which makes it all the more satisfying that we’re sitting 3rd in the league and going well in both cups.

Thought Saturday was the poorest away support I've ever seen from Kilbirnie at Beechwood [emoji853]

Not a happy camp at Valefield, papped out the Scottish by Gartcairn again, poor league form, gates down, players sleep walking through games, need a reaction soon

It's not about the last 2games it's about where we are at the halfway point in the season and yes we are more than happy the last 2 games lets us see where you have to be to stay top .

As a Meadow fan looking forward to the second half of the season. Punching above our weight in the league so far. Will take another top half finish. After our win v Troon now quietly confident should not be in any relegation trouble that is always the aim at the start of the season to get 35 points or there abouts on board. Teams below us such as Talbot, Hurlford and Glenafton should normally finish above us but if keep grinding out results you never know could do better than last seasons 6th spot. But wouldn't be too disappointed if don't and get further in West of Scottish.

The West and Scottish cup games in January and hopefully February/March in particular will have a big bearing on whether it is a good or brilliant season.

Doing well so far, winning the league cup, still plenty of games to play in the league which is a trying time near back end of the season, still in the junior cup and west. Biggest dissapointment is the senior cup losing that penalty with 5mins to go against arbroath [emoji22] especially when u seen the draw which would been a home tie against Falkirk which I feel we would have been in with a great chance.

The last 2 games are just that, in the past, bit of a doing but we still only failed to get 3 points, getting beat 1-0 or 6-2 still only 0 points.

We’ve played most of the top teams twice now other than Glenafton and took points off most.
We are now about to start phase 2 at the ground so alls well with us

Can you give us some info on what phase 2 of the ground improvements involves parkcircus?

Building has just had the building warrants approved so back to that.

Digging the founds next week, then get the concrete poured and it sat in place and then work on the rest of it

Small stands for far side, plans are now complete and with the council for approval, hopefully have that in place end of Jan and work starting Feb

That should take us up to the end of the season with these in place for the new season, then sit down and work out Phase 3, which will be large, near side stand and floodlights

Most teams are half way through their season. Who is happy, who isn't??
We, at Rossvale are delighted with the way it has gone, way above our expectations.
Still another half of the season to go, but so far so good

Not happy. Ashfield only managed to play 10 league games so far due mainly to in playable parks. Too many games building for end of season. First year watching juniors and can’t understand why this level of football is allowed to get into a position of potentially playing 3 games a week at end of season. Surely mid week, even if neutral grounds are used, would make sense. What’s your thoughts.

Midweek on neutral grounds. Ask home clubs to give up matchday income and pay extra pitch hire and reduce crowds by making it an away game for both sets of fans. Apart from that it's a great idea.
