Eating too much, and getting nostalgic for the days when Christmas never seemed to start in October, the highlight of the day was Noel Edmonds at the top of the Post Office Tower, TOTP, the big Christmas movie, and the Morecambe & Wise Christmas special. Shows that we all parked our arses around the TV to watch live, as streaming, catch-up TV, and a zillion digital pish channels hadn’t been invented. It’s just not the same these days.
