Saints v Buddies 21/12/19

What a stinking half from us.

Devoid of any method of play, it just looks like we’ve thrown 11 players together and hoped for the best.  I don’t think Matt Kennedy has done a single thing right all half.

St mirren comfortably the better side, we’re fortunate to go in level.

Waited until 44:30 then finally changed it to MOH dropping wide and Wright moving inside as attacking centre mid.

Need a big improvement in the second half.

Counter attack, MOH  and Kennedy 2v1 with defender, defender behind Kennedy rugby tackles him to the ground.

No card.

Ralston fouls St Mirren player.

Murray Davidson booked.

Referees in the country are hopeless.

Callum Hendry clearly booted in the head.

Laying prone on the ground 5 yards in front on Beaton, who is staring in that direction.

Refuses to stop play.

It's a farce.

Flashscore had both them being booked. Thought Ralston's yellow seemed harsh but Davidson's was a definitely yellow

Clean sheet only positive from that, fucking awful. Looked like we had our heart set on  a draw so here we are. Drey Wright is an absolute passenger just now.

St Mirren look like Dunder of seasons gone by. Pass the ball a lot, convince themselves they're dominating, but ship easy chances and never actually create any.

Decent point that, much better result for us than for St Johnstone.

After losing 3 games in a row we have now went 3 unbeaten. Considering 2 of those were away from home and our form on the road before that run was we lost every away game, that’s not bad going.

And a clean sheet aswell with that makeshift defence, Ryan Flynn must be sick of playing right back now [emoji28]

Next Celtic in Paisley on Boxing Day...

What game were you watching.

The one where one team spent their time passing it between defenders before thumping it to opposition CBs, while the other sit deep and create a chance out of nothing, then return to sitting deep and doing nothing.

St Mirren clearly the better team there, but ita not exactly hard when we could barely pass the fucking ball. I'll repeat that playing well and failing to win is not a good habit.

Final few minutes showed both sides were happy with a point. Massive game for us on Boxing Day now.
