Been listening to radio x for a while but due to jump ship.  Constant oasis/Gallagher tracks and Sam Fender every 5 minutes.

That has been pissing me off lately as well, they started off well after the XFM rebrand but reaching Bauer Media levels of song predictability recently. I like the songs but I don't need to hear them on the hour, every hour.

That used to be a must listen on a Saturday evening at 5pm UK time when I worked on ships.
The reception would often fade in and out and was always guaranteed to go completely when your team’s results were being read out. It was even more frustrating when you heard half the score and the reception went as they read your teams name out. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Things like that do make you wonder why broadcasters bother.

See things like FishCam or Yule Log, which can end up being more popular than the regular programming.

+1 for 6 Music. I don’t think it’s as good since the presenter reshuffle earlier in the year but still plays some amazing stuff from all genres. 

Quite like a bit of Magic Soul too.

Thanks to those recommending absolute 90s.  Checked it out today and will be my go-to in the car for a while I reckon.  Good mix of tunes.
