Queen's P. V Stirling A.

Can someone please tell me what Alfie gives to the team.

What has Reagan done not to be in the squad?

Wish I could answer your first. Truth is he takes away from the team. Lost possession with every touch of the ball yesterday.

Thomson had a spat with Roberts earlier in the season at Edinburgh but if it was just that it would have been resolved by now. spiders4ever theory is much more probable. If he isn’t on a pre-contract they’d want him in the shop window every week, not sitting in the stand like yesterday.

Special word for Wullie Muir after a rocky patch. He saved us from an absolute humiliation last week and kept us in the game with a wonderful save. Regardless of how big our budget might be next season, he gets the gloves for me. Not many better at this level.

Nicol was possibly lucky not to have followed him on a couple of occasions and the disappointing thing was there was not a rash tackle in the game.

Was that your number four? Agreed if it is, launching the ball into the stand when it's gone out for a throw isn't the wisest course of action when you're on a booking.

Inconsistency from the ref as well as he booked another Stirling player ten minutes later for the same offence, although that player had only tapped it a few yards away at a free kick.

Let's blame the conditions for Saturday; they were horrendous. Still, a poor goal to lose but a couple of bits of magic gave us a point. That was probably fair.

What was that referee like? Poor decisions all over the place for both sides. For us, the clattering of Salim seemed a cert penalty; his booking was mystifying. He was banged about all day with very little protection. Nicol booting the ball into the stand was as clear a yellow as you'll see. One of the photographers reckoned the one cleared out of the goal was over the line.

No doubt Bino fans can rhyme off a few gripes of their own.

Apparently they have increased their previous offer of £35k, so while it's sad to see him go before we can get much benefit from him on the pitch, it will at least bring in a reasonable sum. Hope ig works out for him and he continues to develop. Hope to see him playing at Hampden again in a few years (for Scotland)

Will QP get all 35K (or whatever the figure is)?
