Falkirk vs Raith Rovers

Recommended Posts

A team with inconsistency and turmoil versus a team with inconsistency and availability issues, both needing points to stay in the promotion fight. Long range forecast for light rain and snow showers (and worth every penny you paid to read this), I’m going for a 1-1 slog.

Take it the two raith players sent off today will be suspended, does this cause you guys issues or is the squad and positions able to cope?

on the falkirk front probably better Lee Miller plays up front for us, even if he's slow and can't run about much more likely to score...

Given our overload of injuries and red card suspensions from today's game, I'll happily settle for a draw right now.

Most very unlikely we'll extend the clean sheet scenario to five on the bounce.

It'll be a major headache to put any type of team together under the present circumstances.

We've got a couple of options, but we’re awfully thin in the back and the central mid, like Ro Sham Bo notes. The questions will be does our fill-in RB (Watson) play well and does JMcG plug in one of our nominal forwards with midfield experience into the middle.

There’s a couple of funky options, but I’d be terribly surprised if we don’t start the same four in back that we finished the Airdrie game with...and held a clean sheet under pressure.

The loss of Matthews is a shame, because midfield was apparently Falkirk’s weakness early today, but Dingwall looks to be back In form. If we keep GAndo on the wide right mid, Dixon might have a nightmare game.

Reading the views on the play at New Bayview, and the less than thrilling post-game comments by the temp coach(s), it seems a great time to be facing Falkirk at TFS, which might mean we really lay a turd. Of course, we’ve won a couple of turds recently. Have the M&M boys actually shaken up the lineup any, or are they too constrained by Ray’s signings to have much leeway? And Gomis was a beast in the last game at Stark’s Park, but seems to have faded from the reports, is he nicked?
