Big Poppa Posted December 10, 2019 Share Posted December 10, 2019 I think glens need to look at the bigger picture here. Everyone else cant be wrong. Terrible weather on saturday so naturally everyone goes in to the covered area. It usually starts with verbals between fans and it's not a nice atmosphere to be in. Its almost inevitable when you add in alcohol that there will be some form of trouble. The young team in there can create a bit of an atmosphere and 15 x £6 is good to get for a team that to be honest doesnt have a big support. But at what cost? Id say more and more folk are staying away from loch park now. Feel sorry for the hard working committee who are in a really difficult position. Ban them and face abuse, would the park be vandalised, are they getting their windows put in for standing up to this group ? It's actually really sad because a lot of very good people work really hard for a club and a town that doesnt have an awful lot else. And show me where I've bragged about it? Nowhere. Few things here called FACTS 1. all I've done is point out that there's to party's involved in this. 2. Numerous comments of how it's happened loads over the years when the reality is before Saturday there was an incident during game with beith fans, and the talbot game a few years back in the train station car park 3. The hilarious hypocrisy of talbot fans slating anither team for some incidents when they themselves needed helicopters riot squads etc. Every team has to deal with incidents at some point but very few need that scenario. Using the excuse off they celebrated in front of you to in any way claim that justified it is laughable and you need to have a long hard look at yourself. The players had to deal with some horrendous abuse all throughout the game in particular Spenny any Latta but didn’t see them using that as an excuse to go about attacking fans.
