The goalkeeper pretty much threw it in. It was clear to everyone in the stadium he should've squared it but he got lucky.

Genuinely don't see how that is an "odd" statement.

Because he did in fact score. If Doohan had saved it then it would be a valid point however he got lucky so it’s not really a big deal.

He scored. Doesn’t matter if he was lucky, trying to suggest he should have done something different is bizarre.

What a difference when we have Keatings fit. It forces us to play it on the deck, and the quality we have can carve open every team in the division. Even more so when we have Welsh and Walsh back.

Could easily have played Keatings in for a certain goal, ended up relying on the keeper throwing it into his goal. I know what I'd rather see him do next time.

It's not odd to suggest the decision he made on the probability of a goal was wrong. He got lucky.
