Midlothian Hearts versus West Lothian Thistle

Recommended Posts

With Hearts' manager hunt now starting to take months, rather than weeks, and with Livingston on a 4-game losing streak, it seems that neither set of clinically depressed fans is able to work up the willpower or initiative to startt up the match thread for two days hence. Fear not, what with our new manager bounce and our 10-game unbeaten streak, morale is high amongst the P&B Hibs bois, and we have that little bit of extra energy and enthusiasm to help our less fortunate Lothian Brethren out in their time of need. Hibs were founded as a charitable venture, after all.

As to the match, on Livingston's end, their top goalscorer, Dykes, looks to be fit and working again, and their secret anti-Hearts weapon, Marvin Bartley, will  be on hand to ragdoll any Jambos foolish enough to set foot beyond the halfway line. Meanwhile, Hearts' top goalscorer, Christophe Berra o.g., is also likely to be on the pitch, providing that extra added goal threat that could well tip the balance in Livi's favour.  The one consolation for the Hearts fans is that there's a good chance Berra will pick up a sixth yellow card this time, and provide some respite for the Hearts goalmouth in upcoming games.

Can't see beyond an away win here. 0-2 (Dykes, Berra o.g.)

We drew 0-0 at the weekend to continue our losing streak. Bartley got taken off through injury so doubt he’ll be fit for this.  Hearts are unbelievably shite, and we must have the worst away record in the country over the past 2 seasons so f*ck knows how this game will turn out.

As long as someone cripples that c**t Berra at some point in the game I couldnt really care less.
Only he and Scott Allan have really grinded my gears this season so far.
Bartley to 2 foot Berra, get away with a warning and Berra out for the next 17 years. Halkett refuses to play for the new manager and comes back in January.

Not with Greg Aitken in charge he wont. Hope we're practicing playing with 10 men for this game.

Besides, i'd rather keep Berra on the pitch, he's shite.

Hoping our players will show a vast improvement from Sunday, if not to impress a watching Stendel then at least for personal pride after embarrassing themselves.

Narrow and unconvincing Hearts win. 2-1 with us gifting another shocking goal away.

Has Berra scored at both ends before now?

6-1 win for Livingston. Christoph Berra Hattrick.

Hickey to have yet another absolute shocker and completely stamp out any of the previous myths he was some kind of footballer.

I was buying something at the bakery bit of M&S one morning shorty after the Hickey's deflected derby winner. He arrived there too and, given this rising star athlete status, I was curious as to what he would be eating before training: 2 sugar ring doughnuts. Got to celebrate somehow I suppose.
