HibeeJibee
Start of Advent today. Christmas break in EOS is Saturday 21st December this season. So far Bo'ness v Broxburn in a big Premier Division derby and Dunipace v Ormiston in Conference A have been brought forward to that day from Sat 28th... while Heriot-Watt Uni v Stirling Uni EOS in an 'inter-conference' university derby has come up from Sat 4th Jan. Any word of more? Festive friendlies? Mini-tournaments?
Ray Patterson
The two Uni teams playing a derby right at a time when the students will be away doesn't exactly seem smart.

HibeeJibee
Saturday 21st December Bo'ness Utd v Broxburn Athletic Penicuik Athletic v Whitehill Welfare Dunipace v Ormiston Heriot-Watt Uni v Stirling Uni EOS Looks like no 'extra' games and no friendlies whatsoever AFAICS. Feeding on footballing thin gruel this pre-Christmas. Nevertheless a derby feast upon resumption.

Allnitelong
Just shows the different standards. Tranent doing to Tynecastle what they’re doing to others
gaz5
Just shows the different standards. Tranent doing to Tynecastle what they’re doing to othersNot really. You should never count friendly results as a measure of anything. They're games for getting players fitness and trying new things, nothing more.

Hopefully the midweek games will be a regular thing in the future - can't wait to get back up north. With every passing week, it’s looking less likely. I can see us playing out the whole season in front of no crowds. I hope I’m wrong but it’s not looking hopeful from where I’m sitting and that’s in a region that WAS in tier 2 but is now back in tier 3. So, yeah, going backwards it is then!
