Ludo*1
Only read the first page but Rab would get in ahead of Marshall & Sullivan for me. I don't think Marshall has ever been that good for Scotland. Doesn't command his area and the only reason he's well liked just now is because he is the only option. That's just personal opinion though and appreciate I may well be in the minority with that. If we are using the 5 cap limitation and want someone objectively worse, then Paul Gallacher slots in.
Ludo*1
David Weir was also one of our best CH's. Still kicking about at 40 as Scotland's best CH was some going.

I recall him being absolutely honking during a 0-0 draw at home to Slovenia, since you asked.

craigkillie
Wilkie was very good in the home leg of the Holland play-off. He was generally fine for Scotland in my memory, and if his knee hadn't exploded soon after then he'd probably have ended up with a ton more caps.
Gordopolis
Yeah I liked Wilkie. Not a world beater but a solid enough defender considering the other options we had during his time.

Barry Ferguson's Hat
During a game of Football Manager 2007, where I was managing Barcelona, Lee Wilkie's agent sent me a kind of scout report to see if I'd be interested in signing him. I was so taken-aback by the sheer brass neck of it that I think I did actually sign him in what must have been some sort of weird catatonic haze. It was the one and only time something like that happened, possibly to anyone ever.
Scumjob
A fully fit Lee Wilkie would walk into the aide nowadays. Derry Alli
Crazy to think he gave the rigs another go. Or that he was given another go, given his behaviour last time.
