shawfielder
Happy with a point until 88 minutes, 3 stonewall chances in the last couple of minutes should have seen us take all 3 points. Weather spoiled the game, plus for me was Johnston coming on, started to create chance and linked the play, looked a different team with more cutting edge.
fifer67
Two teams cancelled each other out both setting up 451. A-turgid midfield battle with both teams lacking any cutting edge in the final third. That was the best advert you’ll ever see for summer football driving rain for 90 minutes in a world of darkness. Best for East Fife was Dunsmore and Watt, and Brett Long for has fantastic saves at the death. We had a couple of great chances as well when Denholm nipped in front of the keeper only to see it go agonisingly past the post by inches. Then Dowds had a fresh air swipe from 6 yards. After Saturdays debacle I suppose that steady the ship a bit a clean sheet and another point on the board. On to Saturdays top of the table clash in darkest Lanarkshire.
Karpaty Lviv
I’ll take a point but those last two headers will haunt. Great saves, particularly from Petkov, but the keeper did well in general. We finished very strongly and that seems to be a ver reoccurring thing with us. Should have turned that into three points though.
BroadwoodBoy
Not the best of games & a draw was probably a fair result. Frustrating though given our chances right at the death & the chance Grant had after Goodwillie outmuscled the defender in the box at end of first half. Some great defending & goalkeeping preventing us on those occasions. Other than that we never really done much going forward.

David W
Few other observations: 1. I'm never going to agree with us playing Lamont in a wide position. It takes away all of the strengths from his game. Took a wee hissy fit when he was subbed which Moore wasn't too impressed about. For all Lennon claims that Wallace has provided a foil for Goodwillie, he has barely linked up with him in the last couple of games bar Smith's goal. 2. McMullin worked hard and was involved plenty but he gave the ball away so many times with easy passes on, including one inside our box at a set piece. Not convinced he's any better than Allison. Maybe harsh on a player who probably wouldn't be in our 18 if others were fit. 3. Defending is much improved, with Howie and Rumsby excellent, albeit against a team who played entirely in front of them. McNiff defended well as well. Grant was protecting everywhere in front of them second half. 4. Both goalkeepers were excellent given the conditions. Handling impeccable. 5. Petkov did okay as a sub again, better than Wallace did. We were a totally different team with Johnston on the pitch and it's a shame he couldn't come on 15 minutes earlier. 6. As the home team, I'd have expected East Fife to go for it a bit more. Stuck with the 451 throughout, and offered very little in the last ten minutes. 7. An absolutely mental number of throw-ins.
LiamA
Just watched the last last 90 seconds back again, Brett’s save from Goodwillie was good but the double save from Petkov was simply outstanding! Welcome back Brett, didn’t even need an interpreter for his post match interview either! [emoji39][emoji39][emoji39][emoji39]
Only one David Marsh
I'm happy with a point considering it was rotten conditions for a game of football but very frustrating we had 3 good chances to nick the 3 points.

sneed hearn
A horrible evening weatherwise and the game wasn’t much better.Highlight was definitely Darren Young roaring “Anton” to the subs warming up behind the goal then realising Anton was sitting in the dugout behind him.
Big Fifer
Just watched the highlights. Brett Long is a stallion.
LiamA
Never mind Brett what about Ross Davidson's challenge to deny Ray Grant a tap in in the first half. Wasn't sure how he had missed until you see the Gopro angle! Says a lot about part time player commitment when Davo is working up in Inverness, drives down after finishing early & was heading straight back up the road after game. Some would have just said they were working! Here's your highlights, quality is excellent despite the weather Edited November 28, 2019 by LiamA

Mon_The_Fife
Couple of cracking saves from Long at the end in what looked like beautiful weather. Overall, it looked like a draw was probably fair though.
Life on Marrs?
Watched the highlights yesterday, that save from Brett at the end! He was full stretch and it looked past him when he clawed it forward, and to get up for the rebound, brilliant.
