Rangers were very poor upfront without Morelols, but then he comes on and gets himself booked within 5 minutes, basket case. If that Rangers team had a right back who could defend there would probably be a title race. Davies was great today, Smith was good again and Southwood was probably decent enough to keep Fon Williams out thankfully. Davies was causing all sorts of problems and the Oakley sub meant that he actually had someone willing to feed off that. Rangers seemed to calm things down a wee bit just before they scored their, but we had some really good chances and half-chances that can't be passed up in these games.The Smith-Davies-Oakley-Miller quartet seems to be our best front line. While it puts a lot of strain on the central midfielders, I think Martin coming back should make things a little easier. It makes some different having a right-back who can attack too.
