djchapsticks
Definitely stealing this from the other thread but a DDT should be devastating and a match ender. It's somehow become a transition move through the years though.
Vimto90
A superkick. Far too many. Shawn Michaels was special.
Ira Gaines
Superkicks I don't mind because a kick was never realistic to me as a finisher anyways given the stuff that can't finish matches. Definitely Destroyers. Good shout on DDTs too, but I think they're being used more sparingly now, to the point where you could probably have it as a finisher again.
Cardinal Richelieu
I know they don't use it any more, in WWE, but a piledriver looks (and can be) devastating, yet hardly ever seemed to be a finisher.

cb_diamond
You see a ridiculous amount of enziguris nowadays.

Kicks to the head have been in abundance from the beginning in wrestling.

Seems every match you hear that "noise" a super kick makes.
Ira Gaines
I blame Tajiri for this shit.
djchapsticks
Slightly off topic but it is still relevant. I'd also like to see the practice of actually protecting finishers return. I get on the BIG matches, pulling out the false finishes for the finishing moves but I watched Lio Rush vs Angel Garza the other day and both have rather impressive looking finishers (I presume both are their finishers, Garzas was the wing clipper and Rush's almost like a springboard stunner) and both got kicked out of. It makes both finishers look weak as piss if neither move can put a man away in what was essentially a regular televised match. SamuraiJock
I think Rush's finisher is the frog splash but still a fair point I think any move getting carried out on the "hardest part of the ring" is overdone these days As well as people overselling a clothesline and getting flipped upside down by it
Ira Gaines
Good shout on apron spots. No need for it.
TheGoon
On a somewhat related note, Elix Skipper’s cage walk in TNA not finishing the match was insane.
