Raith Rovers v Peterhead - Scottish Cup

Davidson has been our furthest forward player at times in this game. An absolutely wild selection from McGlynn.

I presume it’s with an eye to Tuesday with Matthews and Tait our only available midfielders. But it isn’t working and should’ve been binned long before now.

Somehow we’re ahead though...

Davidson in midfield is fucking mind boggling. Not been capable of that for a decade.

Looks like he's playing between the lines to stop Peterhead from doing the exact thing they have done successfully all game. Need to make a change in there.

So what change do we make? Back to the 3-5-2? Do we pull Bowie protectively, and replace with Allan?

Is Davidson not out also on Tuesday though?

Peterhead must be wondering how theyre not still in Cup. they should have won by at least a couple.
Agreed. What a difference to the last game when we lost 4-0 and deserved to lose by more. This time we should have been ahead at half time and kept Raith to one attempt on target the whole game. If we keep playing like this we should win more games than we lose. Good luck to Raith in the next round.

Only two real positives from that today we're through to next round and managed to win by playing so badly. Peterhead definitely deserved more from the game by far the better team and the less said about Lewis Allan the better that performance was embarrassing.
Lewis Allan, just back from lengthy injury layoff and didnt play a full game? That Lewis Allan? What were you expecting?

Fair play to Rovers. Being a goal up despite not touching the ball for approximately 43 minutes is quite the talent.

This deserves another airing, firstly for wit and secondly for harsh reality.

That was a piss poor performance by everyone in a Raith shirt. No desire, no urgency, no pressure, no shots on target other than the goal.

Lewis Allan is clearly no where near fit, our ball from keeper to Anderson in the 2nd half was a joke. Davidson in midfield, well he wont hurt teams other than a rash tackle as his passing is sideways or back. We then bring on Dingwall what has he actually done since signing, yet others dont get a chance. Too many players arguing with each other than supporting each other.

On a plus it was a good cross for the goal and Dave Dave McKay didn't do anything wrong at right back.
