Really?  Are.you.high?..Henderson is.fucking awful.and it's widely accepted.he's quite.lucky to.be.in the position he is,.probably the worst.player ever to.lift the cl as captain.  Mctominay has been much better than him, Liverpool don't even start.him.every week, no.danger you'd drop mctominay for him.

A quick check shows Henderson has started 9 of 12 games in the premier league and has featured in 11 of their 12 games , your talking out a hole in your arse. Mctominays a good young player but henderson is unquestionably better at this moment in time. Mctominay will become better imo though.

So their captain doesn't even start every week like I said.  I would definitely take.mctominay over Henderson right now, mctominay is one of the few players we have who would start for England.

McTominay would definitely start ahead of Rice, to be fair.

I actually think.rice is going to be much better than henderson.  Mctominay would.start in front of.Henderson right now, he's utterly talentless and just a water carrier.  Mctominay is a much better player.

I'm also an avid Sunderland fan so I do like Jordan Henderson as a player and he was fantastic for the Mackems, but Scott McTominay is better at his age now than Jordan Henderson was at the same age and Henderson has turned ot alright, Champions League winner, so future is bright for McTominay

Well Russian centre backs are big strong powerful fuckers so folk matching them for physicality are few and far between.

Are they? Don't see how they were much different to other decent international defenders.

Regardless, he continually put himself in positions where it became about strength. Whether he lost those challenges because he is weak or they are unusually strong is neither here nor there. Intelligent players like naismith quickly figure out a better way to play against an opponent who has advantages over him.

Kuro, you are either clueless or trolling.

Utterly talentless 😂😂 some of the goals he has scored / assists made are top class. He has improved hugely over the years and is a leader. What's not to like?

I really rate mctominay and think he'll go on to be a top player but he is still a bit away from his peak or hendersons level.

Yes I realise he is a better player than you c***s deserve. Morons, sorry... People who sit around me at Parkhead moan about Forrest despite him being class too so you’re in good company.

So just to catch myself up here. Are folk saying that we should be picking Jordan Henderson for Scotland?  Kuro's derailment of threads really is something to behold. The fact that others seem to take his pish at face value is a huge riddy for all involved.

Henderson is a good bit ahead of McTominay as you would expect with his experience and age. Henderson is one of the top midfielders in the premier league, plays week in week out with the best team. He has also been played in various roles, deep lying, attacking and even been played on the right a bit this season. Very underrated and probably a victim of being compared to Gerrard.

I would take Klopp's (one of the best managers in the world) opinion before Kuro's (a bumbling moron)

Scotland’s problem is that we no longer produce centre halves or strikers

Our obsession with coaching youngsters and our ridiculous youth systems mean that big centre halves and kids whose like scoring goals are ignored or have it coached out if them.

It’s now all about ‘technical ability’. We no longer coach players to defend. We no longer let players specialise in poaching.

We now produce an army of midfielders and wingers.

But no centre halves or strikers. Or even right backs.

Alex McLeish, Willie Miller, Ally McCoist, Joe Jordan, Steve Archibald. These guys wouldn’t make it today.

Until we change our ridiculous youth systems, stop over coaching kids and stop obsessing about matching the technical ability of foreigners, things won’t change.

We also need to stop passing the ball about and just get it hoofed up the park.

Football isn’t about keeping possession and pretty play. It’s about getting the ball in the opposition net and keeping it out your own.

Most goals come from a move of 1 pass or less.

Hoof it up the park, win the second ball and take it from there.

It’s not rocket science.

Who let Tony Pulis have an account on here?

Absolute dinosaur attitude
