This happened on a regular basis?

Johnstone was booed twice playing for Scotland at Hampden.

The first was V Wales in a Home International in November 1967 when he was preferred to Henderson and there were chants of `Rangers' and `Henderson.'

Then three years later both he and Davie Hay were barracked in a European Championship qualifier with Denmark the visitors (November 1970).

The late Bobby Brown was accused of bowing to the crowds pressure when he introduced Sandy Jardine for Hay - Jardines international debut incidentally.

The only time Jinky and Henderson played together was at Ninian Park in '66.

Henderson was one of the first to condemn the booing of Johnstone and of course he played quite a few more times at Hampden for Scotland without such criticism.
