Dundee Hibernian
I don't expect people to agree here, and don't mind posters thinking I'm the idiot. I have a low opinion of the human race as well, including those who reference Twitter. And as far as taking heed of advice from someone who supported two dead clubs, that won't be happening.
Ludo*1
This is brilliant. Anyways, that's the sickly feeling in the stomach started due to nerves commenced. Anyone else suffering from this horrible football fan symptom?
Granny Danger
I’d go with the same team/formation as last week, though possibly Stanton instead of Harkes. Hopefully our players will recognise the importance of this fixture and be up for it. Sadly I’m unable to attend despite having already bought a ticket, but I’m glad I’ll be able to watch it on TV. Anyone else suffering from this horrible football fan symptom? Yip. For me it’s the fact of what a win would do for us. A 9 point lead over you lot with a vastly superior goal difference worth pretty much an extra point, and you lot away to ICT the following week meaning points must be dropped (by whom I view as who will be our 2 main rivals over the course of the season), thus potentially increasing the gap...... is absolutely within our grasp. Cue a typical United f**k Up, putting you right back in the mix!!! Prove me wrong my Tangerine Wondercunts and get them pumped.
ArabianKnight
We lose tomorrow and ICT win next week and it's suddenly much much tighter. I still reckon it's going to be a score draw.
RossDee01
Hemmings and Shankland both to score 5/1. Hemmings has 5 in his last 4 against United and Shankland just seems to score every week. Decent value in that if you ask me.
stumigoo
Given the narrative of our time in the Championship, it would be very much in keeping with 'being United' that we lose tomorrow. I actually have little confidence in a victory for us, but that is heavily influenced by standard pre-derby nerves. As I mentioned a few pages ago, if we come away from Dens with a point then I would be more than fine with that.
Dundee Hibernian
Agree that a point will be an acceptable outcome, at the ground of one of the main rivals. Unlike some, I'm not over anxious about the match, which is only one in a long series. Know it's a derby, and that sets a context in itself, but a losing side in this match will still be in contention for promotion at the season's end.

That being said, the minute I stick anything on it there’s no fucking chance of it coming in. Reckon I’ll just stick it all on Hemmings.....
Poet of the Macabre
Baffles me that United can hammer Dundee and Caley but get bashed to bits at Queens.

Berti_Dee
Quieter on here than I imagined it would be. As much as it seems daft to change a team that’s won 3 on the bounce, I’d expect us to line up with the following as McPake tries to ensure that we avoid a repeat of the events earlier in the season: Hazard; Kerr, McGhee, Forster, Marshall; Byrne, Dorrans, McGowan, Mackie, McDaid; Hemmings. Some really good options to call on from the bench with Nelson, Johnson, Ness, McPake and Robertson all available from there. I’m going for a 2-1 win for the Dees.
