Gold comfortable at RB. Stirling’s positional sense is questionable to say the least from what I’ve if him at full back
lichtie23
2-0 Lichties. Donnelly and McKenna. Whatley to win the hospitality man of the match

It would give us a great wee cushion. Pressure all on them. Wouldn't be getting too excited at this stage, it's still pretty early. We also appointed a new manager right on the cusp of the new season, one who didn't know our team or this league, and thus wasn't really placed to make the 3 or 4 loan signings Goodwin would have at that stage of the summer. We are very short of players. Added to that, he had a wee experiment early on with a new formation that cost us a few points. All things considered, 10 points so far is a decent enough effort. Main thing for us is to aim to stay in contention until New Year and then add to our squad. Today won't define anything. Be a good one to win though!

Not getting excited just saying it can take a long time for teams at the bottom to pick up 7 points in this league, so getting that kind of gap built up would be great, don't see the problem? Also last year 8th place finished with 11 wins, to get 5 after 12 games would be a great boost

I think talk like "pressure all on them" at this stage of the season is a little excitable.

Lichtie78
If JT is out we’ve got plenty of players who could cover RB, but it’s about finding someone to play there which won’t disrupt the rest of the team. Been mentioned to me that Scott Stewart could perhaps fill in there, with McKenna staying on the wing. Wouldn’t mind this as keeping our midfield 3 together is essential imo.
lichtiekev
DJ back in goals too, Hopefully jason is fine and can play, if not it will 100% be Stirling, But saying that i wouldnt be surprised if there was a few more changes and surprises
Leicesterlichtie
With how tight the league is, anything less than 3 points would be disappointing. Little to toss Trout(en) back in the North Sea. 1-0 win. TOB to score.

1320Lichtie
Great 1st half after Alloa goal they came into it and were the better team until it evened out a wee bit midway through second half. Stayed strong at the back and saw it out Huge difference having Whatley and Gold in there. Both teams played some nice stuff
afc_36_0
Good game between 2 good teams, great save from gaston & a miss of the season contender from alloa keeping us in the game. Good team performance with gold and sterling standouts for me [emoji1145][emoji109]
Smokerson
Another great result against a good Alloa side. Dressing room disharmony there for all to see.

Smokie joe 🐟🇱🇻
Arbroath on top for first then 30 minutes Alloa better for last 15 in 1st half and first 15 in the 2nd half. Game evened back out with chances for both. Gaston with a few good saves. Donnelly and linn linked up brilliantly for goals. Need a quick striker for late in games. Good win and big 3 points [emoji1145]
lichtiekev
Linn was flying today, Gold and Whatley superb, all the talk about who our best striker is well and trully put to bed, Donnelly linked up well and scored again, Felt we deserved the 3 points overall and had chances to kill game but it was a nervous last 10
