jamamafegan
It's looking so far like a good ammount of SNP/ Labour voters taking their respective parties high in the cast votes stakes, unfortunately this will change drastically at 5.00pm when all the Tory voters start to finish work. You are scum

Savage Henry
I honestly, genuinely cannot fathom why anyone would vote Tory, but in particular I really cannot believe people actually vote for that fucking odious little creep Mundell. Self hatred mainly.

Try telling that to anyone there who will be affected by a Brexit hard border being imposed on it against its will. Their premier has said it will be an economic disaster for Ireland but the EU negotiators have refused to listen
Bairnardo
I think a lot of it is tied into centuries old deference among farmers and fishermen to landowners. It's a theme that crops up a lot in Scottish literature like The Silver Darlings or Consider the Lilies. As I understand it a lot of farmers are tenants and the CAP payment goes to the landowner (there's a magnificent clip I can't find just now of Andy Wightman asking a Tory MSP who was complaining about late CAP payments for his constituents if he himself had had his £70000 payments on time or not) so I suppose a lot of them don't enjoy the status quo and have through some twisted logic decided to try to get in with the landowning class for some future benefit. You are either a proper Tory, or you are a bootlicker. Since proper tories are very small in number, you can safely assume anyone who votes tory is a bootlicker. Theres probably 1000 Smithers to every 1 Monty Burns in this country. Pathetic.

ford prefect
What the Tories did in the 80sProportion of people living below the poverty line increased from 13% to 43%Child poverty doubledIncreased the gap from the top 10% of the population to the bottom 10% from 5 times to 10 times as muchJust a few examples of what the Tories did to the working class people in our country. But it's ok because some people could buy their house. Oh and no more were allowed to be built with the proceeds, thereby fucking the next generation.Scum of the earth

Aye like Right To Buy; home ownership; Selling off the social housing that resulted in rents more than doubling relative to average earnings. 40% of these 'right to buy' homes are now privately rented out, with £22m being spent just so that local authorities can rent them back for temporary housing in order to soften the resultant housing crisis. But as long as those that could afford it can feel better about having an asset at the expense of the folk freezing this winter, brilliant stuff. DeeTillEhDeh
Just been down to my Glasgow polling station to vote for the SNP. Busier than I remember previous elections; only one Labour guy on the door handing out leaflets. Who goes to vote, gets a leaflet at the door go in and that's what makes their mind up?Queues at polling stations across London and urban areas. From the pictures it is predominantly young voters.Could be an interesting night.
