D Angelo Barksdale
Tory majority unfortunately. Johnson's racist dog fuckers to do a deal with Farage's racist dog fuckers to get it over the line. The only show in town to be, well, the only show in town in Scotland. Swinson to get her jotters plz. Ross Thompson to go on a cocaine fuelled sexual assault spree after he's emptied. The PLP to shoot themselves in the foot no doubt.

btb
Watershed election, easily the most crucial since '79. A Johnson lead govt. with a Cabinet filled with Britannia Unchained neoliberals will be the death of the Welfare State and many of the less fortunate members of our society and there's no shying away from this. Live in Ayr, will be voting SNP and hopefully we can reverse the tactical vote of 2017 which saw us return a Conservative MP. Got some anger issues there, I probably would have too if I had your life. -
NotThePars
It's socialism or barbarism. Two biggest contributions Scotland can make is chucking out 13 Tory MPs and reducing the Lib Dems to their weird blood ritualistic hold on the Midsommar/ Wicker Man islands. Jo Swinson having a Clegg moment would be class.
DAFC.
Can see a similar result to 2015 in Scotland. Tories to hold on to their country bumpkin seats, Edinburgh-South and possibly one of NE Glasgow or Coatbridge to remain Labour and a few Lib Dems scattered here and there. SNP to have at least 50 seats. All aboard the yellow steam train, babeh.
btb
A bit premature? Quote Confirmed - Government will pull election bill if franchise extended
Granny Danger
If the government pulls the Bill what happens next? Will Johnson try to bring back his WAB? Will the SNP and LIb Dems try to take control of the order paper and introduce a Bill for an election in January?
John Lambies Doos
SNP. You would have to be fucking weird to vote for anyone else in Scotland
Granny Danger
Bercow is not selecting the amendments for some reason and the one to change the franchise may not be called. I don’t see that going down well.

Absolutely hilarious to see a government "spokesman" saying it would "go against the convention that changes to the franchise are done over time and via consultation." Go against the convention - LMFAO.
Detournement
The electoral commission say there should be several months of consultation about expanding the electorate. That may mean the amendments don't get picked up. FWIW Cummins might be bluffing on the amendments. The Tories won't even need a manifesto if EU citizens get the vote. Complaining about that can be their entire campaign.

Literally no one has suggested this until a few Remain supporting MPs realised it might keep them in office. Citizens vote in national elections in every county in the world. This is just daft opportunism and will back fire. The entire No Borders thing is massively incoherent.
