Strategically it was an incredibly stupid thing to focus on. It’s a quagmire of a debate and Alba made it ten times worse by expanding the bigotry to include LGBTQ+ organisations and backing their candidates who attempted to target wider swathes of people that it’s generally less acceptable to call paedophiles. Someone on here was claiming nobody read the manifesto which isn’t true. There was some stuff in there that seemed reasonable but when you launch dog whistle discussions in their own section people generally will focus on that before the more sober policies!

Reeks of just doing it so people beg him to stay and he feels like a big man. Wee ginger dug also seemingly v v lucky lockdown exists or he'd have had his face smashed in it seems too. Comes across like an extremely stable but frighteningly dangerous lad that wings. Doubtless a fantastic fighter. Don't cross him.

To be fair on WGD, he had a massive stroke and is now only partially mobile. Unlike certain SNP list candidates, there's no real doubt about his disability. He made a specific appeal for funds to buy a more suitable house and have it adapted for his new circumstances.

Given the circumstances, it's a bit unfair to call him a grifter.

I'm pretty disgusted at Wings for suggesting that only the pandemic stopped him from beating up a wheelchair-bound invalid though
