Luckily we have an exceptionally talented left back in Tierney, if he is fit and available then we should be looking at him in these games to see if he provides a little more solidity in that area of the pitch. If he does, then he takes the place because unlike Liverpool, we need our LB to defend first and foremost because, as you say, he plays alongside lesser talented CB's. Nobody should be undroppable from this (poor) Scotland team. He hasn’t always played alongside world class players.He earned his ticket to Liverpool by playing for struggling sides like Dundee Utd and Hull City. He’s played alongside less talented players. He's also injured which is why he's not playing. Id play Christie on the right to allow him to cut inside for slide balls through to the striker, shots and crossfield passes to robertson and Fraser. It's actually quite logical really. As for you, apparently you think picking a guy who has retired is a good idea, as well as picking a goalkeeper who is uncapped.
