andy25
The ref had a good game. Cause that’s how the game is played these days As said above look at what a FIFA listed ref (a lot more experienced and better than the ref we had at Beachwood today) disallowed a goal for the challenge on the keeper in the Scotland game
TFW
Think Lanark contributed massively to making this an excellent final. It would have been a major upset had Talbot not won but at half time Lanark were well in the game only 2-1 down, and their goal was an absolute belter - straight out of the Gordon Pope handbook. No better praise than that. Lanark had an excellent away following, probably at least 300, and there's very clubs bring that level of support to Beechwood. It was Talbot's experience and superior fitness that finally told on Lanark. Good to see a lot of the players who don't normally start playing today and fitting in very well, and think it's safe to assume that only McCracken, McPherson, Armstrong and Shankland who stated today will start next week against Cove Rangers. Always god to get silverware early doors, now for Cove. What's your thoughts on the game nocknosh? Was it the away dressing rooms wot won it for Talbot?
Ajs
Lanark keeper was fouled as you admit contact was made while in the air. Minimal contact was made to your diving forward for penalty and I am sure you think that's fine! Lanark keeper did not have good game today though his performance in qualifiers helped us get to final.

Killiepiyo
There was no foul on the keeper, the keeper literally jumps straight into gaz. It's in HD and zoomed in. Edited October 13, 2019 by Killiepiyo

Blackie Gold
I don't know what size of crowds Lanark get but if the folk that attended the day turned up every Saturday then it wouldcertainly give the Yowes a great financial springboard and the chance to appear in a few more finals.

Big Boab Jnr
Took this game in as a neutral hoping for a Lanark win but came away as a Talbot admirer. Sorry Lanark but you never gave yourselves a . chance setting up with a formation like that against a team of Auchinlecks undoubted talent. When you have two very slow CHs do not play with a flat back four with little or no protection. Having said that your keeper probably sold the jerseys with that display and killed any chance you had of making a game of it. Best for Lanark was the left back and your goal scorer. Best for Talbot was the team display which looks powerful and controlled.
Talbot supporter
A lot of sour grapes on here, didn't think there would be much complaining after a 6-1 score line which was pretty convincing.

No complaints from me the better more experienced team won the game playing some nice football in the process But all you want when playing the big guns is a fair crack of the whip from the officials on the day Dont think you can argue that every 50/50 decision went Talbots way

juniorfan19
Got to remember Lanark are newly promoted into their league, several below the regular champions of the premier. To reach the final is a massive achievement for Lanark. They gave a very good account of themselves against a team who pretty much dominate junior football also bringing a good following as well. Am sure everyone at Lanark enjoyed their day just frustrated with a few decisions. I don’t think having too comment about how many first team players were on the bench is really needed
