Accies were playing for 0-0 before they went down to 10 men, the sending off of their striker didn’t change much, just nullified their attacking threat. Sadly we just weren’t good enough to beat a 10 man defence and a draw was a fair result. Despite the soft sending off, BobbyF will be along to claim an anti St Mirren referee agenda shortly. 10 years ago I was on this forum raging about Accies defensive football and shithousery under Billy Reid. I actually quite admire them now, they’ve stuck to it and they have 10th place written all over them (again). Must admit I enjoyed their fans singing and dancing in the 89th minute when their goalkeeper was booked for time wasting. We are a better team than we were last year, but the leagues better too. We took three passes when one would do, allowing Hamilton to get everyone behind the ball before we bothered trying to attack. It was almost as if our technical director was in charge of the tactics...
