The three/four shots on target have all been very tame with Shankland’s flick off the post being the only serious chance. Appere is wasted playing so wide; Christ knows why we’re not playing the same formation as we did against ICT. We need to get service to Shankland. Arbroath offer little going forward but are bound to have a chance or two in the second half. Ah glad to hear, and good on them. Not a great half though. We looked lively from kick off, but that faded very quickly. Harkes has been good, Appere, Shankland and Pawlett fairly anonymous. C. Smith's been poor, and tbh I'd have McMullan on soon instead. We've had most of the ball and Arbroath have had next to no chances. We've had little in the way of clear opportunities though; a few shots from distance straight at the keeper and chance that came off the post late on. Mostly it's been sideways passing between the centre halves, albeit at least Butcher is putting his passes in front of Reynolds to encourage him to use the space. Ref has managed to piss off both supports, booked around half of the players on the pitch and shat out of sending off an Arbroath player for a stinking tackle.
