Poet of the Macabre
Wasn't at the game but that's a superb and much-needed result for the Pars. Obviously didn't see the performance but easily the best win Crawford's had as Pars manager, getting 3 points and a clean sheet from a crucial game. Absolute shambles for Thistle though. Thought Beading has been off it for weeks now, so no surprise to see him dropped and might find it hard to get back in after a 3-0 away win. Did we play McGill and Nesbit together or was McGill over on the left hand side? Have to build on this and get another win at home to Alloa next week now. This will have been a bit of a waste if we drop more points to a part-time club. Beat Alloa and avoid defeat at Morton and we will have stemmed the bleeding for now.
D'Jaffo
In that case plot twist, McCall seeking payrise at Ayr. Hunt for new Partick boss continues...This is my thought. Although it’s less likely to be a pay rise and more likely to be funds to spend in January.

Salvo Montalbano
Thought Beading has been off it for weeks now, so no surprise to see him dropped and might find it hard to get back in after a 3-0 away win. Did we play McGill and Nesbit together or was McGill over on the left hand side? It looked like McGill was playing up front in a two although Nisbet was dropping deeper on occasion and Kiltie was getting forward so it was possibly a 4-5-1/4-3-3 hybrid. Certainly McGill and Nisbet found themselves wide on occasion as if they'd been told to rotate. McGill sadly looked like he was towing a caravan and was blowing out his arse after half an hour. Nisbet looked good though and although he scuffed his shot for the opener it clearly gave him confidence and he was unlucky to snack the bar just before our second. McCann then came on at half time and played more on the left with Kiltie on the right in a more orthodox 4-5-1/4-3-3 on the break and did well I thought - didn't panic when the chance looked gone to set up the third, was unlucky with a surging run when he shot just over and supported Edwards (who also had a fine game IMO) when their right back was getting forward.

It was a flat 4-4-2 we didn't press to highly but turned the ball over really successfully in the midfield. Edwards delivery was too notch yet again and Martin and Ashcroft looked comfortable at the back. Obviously desperate for 3 points and totally sat off Thistle but they never looked like scoring, they played everything down the left and Edwards and McCann didn't give anything away. Like you say it's nothing if we don't build on it against Alloa
Cnoc Moire
[emoji106] Wake up! Miller ruled himself out a couple of days ago. You'll be telling us next that Thomas Cook could go bust.

101
What was going on with the condolences section of the programme? Looks like there are 2 deaths of the same person with different names in the same place.

Two people each reported twice two for Raymond in the yellow pane and Catherine gets mentioned in white pane and in middle section of yellow. Diversionary tactic to confuse and bewilder - or there may have been another reason for the blank looks on Thistle fans faces?
