Falkirk vs Forfar - 14/09/2019

Recommended Posts

Forfar will run all over the top of that midfield.

Aye Gomis is in for some shift today like. Pretty much playing in midfield alone.

We’ve got Toshney sitting in the stand today but if he’s no going to get a game at the back I’d take him playing in midfield tbh.

I actually think that looks decent, more attacking and hopefully Telfer turns up. Assuming its a 442 it at least gets rid of Rays 3 sitting mids strategy which was horrendous.
Agree. Sooner or later we are going to have to do this if we want to see an attacking team. Cant have it all ways. Lets see if we can outscore teams rather than trying to outshitfest them

Falkirk will try to score early, the first 10-15 minutes or so.

Forfar keeper will make a few good saves, Forfar will realise what’s happening and sit back and just let falkirk keep the ball, without doing anything.

Forfar will hit on the break when Doyle or Dixon lose the ball when are too far up the park.

Repeat.

Forfar have been shite. We’ve been ok. First was a screamer, second a little lucky. Gomis strolling it, Telfer and Connolly with a bit of form back. Still not totally convinced.
Not sure you can call the second lucky was great stuff from Connolly unlucky to hit the post. Hard pushed to find much to complain about. Even LL has showed up today
