Rovers v Falkirk

Thought the penalty was fair enough. Was dreadful defending before then giving Davidson a free header at the back post then inexplicably letting the ball bounce across the box then Miller was all over the Raith player. It’s one of them that’s rarely given in the box but was definitely a foul.

We actually started the game reasonably well and on the front foot and Johnstone missed a header putting it over when he should’ve buried it. Since the penalty however we’ve resorted to type and have been absolutely fucking stinking. Sloppy as f**k in possession or just booting it long and giving their players so much space and time on the ball. The amount of times Hendry has been on the ball without nobody within 15 yards of him has been infuriating.

Denny Johnstone is an absolute huddy btw fucking dreadful. Gary Miller is slow and negative on the ball and Leitch showing exactly why nae other c**t wanted him in the summer.

That's a bit better performance. Passing on midfield has been much quicker. We've hit the bye line a number of times.

Johnstone has dropped to link the play very well. Unfortunately that means he's not been in the box when the ball gets played in. I'd be tempted to sacrifice a defender to have someone in the box in that scenario.

More like it from Longridge. A definite improvement on recent performances from him.

First time we've seen Miller properly and he looks decent so far.

Hoping for more from Leitch and Moore.

Striker backs in for the penalty. Crap decision and not overly impressed with the ref.

I think he's a p***k.

Just sayin'

Excellent.

It's been a while since we've had a player that opposition fans hate.

You know, an Owen Coyle or a Gerry Britton type w****r.

You give them all the "horses arse" chants because they're actually bloody good and you'd be delighted if they signed for you...

No doubt about the second penalty. McShane absolutely mugged off by 17 year old Dylan Tait, on his first start against a team of adults.

Not at the game, but I'm interested to see how Tait does. Before the start of the season, McGlynn had been hyping up both him and Ziggy. If he can show the same level of promise then it would be incredible.

f**k sake Vaughan, all that build up just to give away a penalty...

Looked from the other end that he might've got a toe on the ball, but someone from the away end will be able to confirm.

A two goal gap is definitely more representative of the game than one would've been, though. The second half has been even more one-sided than the first. We've hit the post and the bar, whereas Falkirk have hardly laid a glove.

Hendry had the cigars out today absolutely strolled it against our non existent midfield. First time I’ve seen him and was incredibly impressive. Some free-kick from Vaughan as well.

As for us that’s just a standard performance under McKinnon. Shite.

Our season depends on keeping him fit.
