The arguments you get on a Saturday night.

My wife continues to make rolls and sausage with tattie scone on the bottom square slice sausage on top ....surely that is wrong ?

Perfectly acceptable practice.

I’ll have to be convinced of this. What can the scone add to the absolute delight of a buttered roll with a square slice sausage and dollop of broon sauce?

Carbohydrate goodness & the absorption of square sausage juices .

Hope your using Daddie's Sauce too?

Bacon, sausage, fried egg  - any combination of these, or all 3 together, with lashings of OK Sauce.

Tattie scone  with a fried egg on top is best in a full fry up.

Sorry, you've not redeemed yourself, a tattie scone is a perfectly reasonable accompaniment on a roll to any savoury favourite.

And just what is OK sauce??

Fair enough. But I'll let the roll do the absorbing and my sleeve will mop up the rest.

You mean there are other sauces available?
