This weekends results. Hearts victory today blows the whole relegation battle wide fucking open. Theyre the biggest winners from this weekend, and those higher up who maybe assumed safety was near, now feel something coming up behind them...

Hearts now 3 points from the safe zone, St Mirrens earlier point now looks less impressive too. Anyones game now.

Next up?

Some games in hand to get rid of. Suspect two losses to add to the pot.

Accies are now fucked. Hearts are probably safe. The dream is over.

If results go a certain way next weekend, and Hearts win at McDiarmid, they could be up to 10th and 3 points off 7th...

Bad season for Accies.

FTFY.

We've been horrendous in all but five or so games this season and well and truly deserve to be bottom. Hearts have given us a false position for a while.

The result of Thursday's hearing could be the final nail in our coffin. Not because losing Rice would be bad, but because the club will probably just write the season off and prepare for the Championship.

We're still bottom and have work to do, but I'm starting to think we'll be okay.

If nothing else, Sportscene will be a laugh tonight.

Massive game for you next weekend.

Away to Saints, likely to be a huge following now, and a chance to get out of 12th, and maybe even potentially both relegation spots.

Hearts fans are remarkably confident considering they're 5 points adrift with less than half a season to play, their new manager hasnt won any of his first 5 games, and theyve absolutely zero idea who theyll be signing in the window.

8 days ago there was no gap at the bottom and now it's 5 points. These situations can be reversed as quickly as they happened in the first place.

2 games later, the gap is now 1 point and we're as close to 7th as we were to 11th. ^A smart man.

TBF to me, pre-Boyce Hearts are far worse than post-Boyce Hearts. He's going to save you.

It's not just Boyce, we've got several players who weren't here or weren't available in the last few months of the year, as well as a new manager who's now had time to work with the players. We're by no means out of the woods yet, but 5 points really wasn't the insurmountable gap it was made out to be.
