My only victory in the split was against them Form was fucking awful. Celtic also eased past me for another cup exit at their hands. Here is the top 3 from last season compared to this season Celtics points gap to 2nd reduced from 38 points to 22. Much better seasons points wise for us and Rangers, so despite the 9 point from me to Rangers compared to last season, we actually had a better campaign. Just unfortunately so did they (and Celtic). How does this Europa Conference League work btw anyone know? Noticed I've qualified for that and not the Europa League. Seemed strange there's no Europa League spots in the league now, only Champions League and Conference League. Seems to be a tournament below the level of Europa League which slightly irks me that I'm going into that instead. Edit - scratch that. Table has been amended now. Not sure why it was showing me as in conference league at first. Is the conference league also known as Europa league 2? I played in it with Caley on the mobile version and it was exactly the same format as the Europa League if I remember correctly. It was quite good fun as there is a lot of teams in the group stages that are tough opponents but very beatable. Becomes much harder in the knockouts when the dropouts from the Europa league come in.

Since you didn’t refute my claim though, I’ll assume you agree with me that cheating to win at FM makes you a Hall of Fame level loser. Do you also save the game and restart it if you lose? I'd love to see this rule where my clever manipulation of the game is outlined as cheating. If you don't have the mental capacity to push boundaries in order to achieve managerial excellence then that's your issue, but don't take it out on me. I just hope you enjoy virtual unemployment.
Aufc
Im currently managing celtic (i started with a scotland international save and got us down 15th in the world. Hard to get much lower as not many decent youngsters coming through).I was trying to get a job in england but no one would take me and the celtic job came up so took it (whilst keeping scotland job). It was halfway through first season and they were behind rangers. I bought some decent players but rangers won the league. Since then i have revamped the team and brought in loads of young players. I try not spend a ridiculous amount on players (i currently have a transfer budget of £110m) and then i sell them if i get a good offer. I also only try and sign players under 23. I didnt really come on to explain my career. Just to say that sebastiano esposito is someone to sign. He is 18 from inter. Got him initially on loan but then got him £15-20m. His first full season with me he scored something like 57 goals across all comps.
AsimButtHitsASix
He's ended up one of the best players in the world in my game, funnily enough via Celtic, as well
Aufc
Arsenal also seem intent on signing a few of my players after tierney. Frimpong was developing nicely so they bid for him. I usually just negotiate the bids to daft money. I put it to £40m or thereabouts and they accepted. Also did the same for mcgregor. Spurs also bid £69m for mohamed ihatteren which i accepted but then he signed a new contract so was happy for him to stay. My starting team is David rayaEmersonThomas basillaMarco kanaRico henry Sergio gomezGiovanni reyna TeteLovro bajerMohamed ihatteren Esposito I do have a few scottish players in the squad that rotate in. Trying to develop ewan henderson. Also trying to sign any scottish youngster that looks remotely promising (like real life). Also trying to sign players at 17-18 so they qualify for the “being at the club for 3 years” rule

senorsoupe
I've picked up my Hibs save, it 2026-27 and the SPFL is now the sixth best league in Europe meaning that this season we get 3 Champions league places and 6 total European places lol Last year this was the table, had a legit chance of second with two games to go, needed to win both games and get help from Hearts, had I beaten the Jambos on the final day I would have been third ahead of Sevco.

Looking ahead to next season I had a little look at the younger players with the view to loaning some of them out for the season for experience. Got some right potential gems here including Calvin Ramsay who was mentioned a few posts back. Connor Barron had been in my u19s since I started the save and has excelled very well by the looks of it! Lewis Neilson a signing my head of youth development made for my reserve squad last season. Longer list is the players in the reserves under 20 years old, of the top 3 Sam McAllister from the latest youth intake, Dennis Robertson and Stirling Buchan from the first youth intake. Rest of them are a mixture of players who were already at the club, players the head of youth has signed and a couple of others of the first season youth intake. Only at the start of July but here's current transfer business anyway. Out In Hughes a centre half. Other 2 I assume most people will know. Further business. Out Mostly loans for my youngsters. Will be following Neilson, Hanratty and Ross' progress in particular as they'll be playing in the top flight. Annoyed about the Stirling Buchan sale, went through before I noticed and could intervene. In Which leaves the first team squad depth for the season looking like so (name, age, CA, PA) - Players you see for 2 different positions can obviously play both. GK Right Back Left Back Centre Back Centre Midfield Wing (both sides) Striker Windass, Smith and Bennett can also play up front to an extent but doubt I'll ever use them there. And reserves who I've failed to loan out, some of them might feature occasionaly for the first team. See what happens. Edited May 22, 2020 by C. CM.
Season 2021/22 Horrible opening day against Motherwell, equally horrible Betfred cup tie against Dundee although I did field a weakened side with the forthcoming Europa League play off round in mind. A decision which seems a good one now as we qualified for the group stages (more on that soon). Bit of a quieter start to the season thankfully having entered Europa League qualifying 2 rounds later than the previous 2 years. Sam Hughes looks an absolute beast. His 4 goals so far have been headers from corners, also an assist or 2 from flicking on/heading back across goal. Could be a real bargain at £375k, especially after just getting £12.5m for McKenna. Halkett injured just now but could have a task on his hands getting into the team with Kerr and Hughes performing well at the back so far. Anyway, the Europa League group Yikes. Similar to the Champions League 3rd placed sides going into the Europa League, 3rd place in the Europa League now go into the knockout stage of the new conference league, so there's a glimmer of hope for me there and an incentive to pip Young Boys to 3rd to continue playing European football after Christmas. Obviously qualifying would be spectacular but I've completely dismissed it already. Edited May 22, 2020 by C. Muir

However, as Celtic won the cup and had already qualified for the Champions League, your team was promoted to the Europa League. That would make sense, anyhow.
senorsoupe
So apparently Man United are sing SI for using their name and not using their proper logos despite the fact that SI don't have a licensing agreement with the Premier League. Zing.
Does anyone else get shafted by disallowed goals? I had three in one game last night, all for offside. Been an issue I’ve had for months.
AsimButtHitsASix
The opposite. I went into the last three games with Gremio needing a point to win the league and got smashed 3-0 by Cruzerio who had two perfectly good goals disallowed before sneaking a last minute equaliser v some non-entity who also had two goals chopped off for no reason. Hahaha. Get it up ye Internacional
