East Fife v Raith Rovers (28th Dec 2019)

If this ends up a draw then the Rovers owe it to McGurn, that was an outstanding save!!!

Surprised that East Fife decided to see out the game, in the end. Won't get many better chances to beat the Rovers at Stark's.

That said, we had the chances and didn't take them.

I'd have taken a point before the game, with our injuries. Coupled with the Falkirk result, a good day.

Better side, but take the point when you consider the players missing.

Pretty confident of finishing ahead of East Fife though.

Quite enjoyable match...would shade overall play to Raith, who missed their chances, but most likely to win was East Fife, robbed by McGurn.

Was that Boyd flouncing away to the dressing rooms in the huff after being subbed???
He didn’t look too happy at coming off!!!

He looked knackered can have no complaints- can score a goal but in these games you need to battle...

It did finish 1-1 didn’t it? You’d think EF had won going by their end of the game celebrations against a depleted Rovers side. Minters.

Tbf, the draw owes a lot to Jamie Gullan as well.

East Fife were a decent side but to miss two absolute sitters in the second half was shite to say the least. What that does show that despite our injuries we still should have won that game and with Falkirk losing we're still top and with both Anderson's back next week it's not all doom and gloom.

Raith 6 fouls. EF 17!

How many bookings in the game for either team?

Other stats just show the number of chances not taken by the Rovers but hey ho the team that's drawn more games than they've won think they're joint top!🤔😂

Happy with that point, luckily the Rovers players left their shooting boots at home! Only Liverpool, Ajax, Juventus and East Fife remain undefeated in the whole of Europe.

Should have been a comfortable win in the end after that second half. Gullan and Dingwall missing sitters with Bowie also having a couple of decent chances. McGurn's wondersave stopped it being ridiculous. Only the Rovers interested in getting the three points by the end with East Fife happy to keep their unbeaten record.

Still bemused at seeing the East Fife fans celebrating them winning a throw in during the first half. The Wee Derby throws up such oddities. Much like that band who have the musical ability of a primary school child who have received a Yamaha recorder.
