East Fife v Raith Rovers (28th Dec 2019)

Recommended Posts

It’s ok though, Raith don’t care about us and don’t treat it like a derby...

What’s with the ‘best team in a generation’ patter too? We’ve had the upper hand over the last few meetings but it was going to go at some point. Still only 3 points off the top, plenty more twists and turns yet to come.

Enjoy your night celebrating the game you don’t care about though.

All that’s missing from that is ‘big full time Rovers shipped 3 goals to a part time team, what an embarrassment’.

Best team in a generation patter is based on the fact this is probably East Fife’s best team in a generation...

Also, what do you count as a few? For most that would be 3 or 4. The last 4 games we have 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 East Fife win. Even the draw we probably edged with half a team.

Or the last 6 games we have 3 wins you have 2 wins and one draw statistics and all that. Anyway  enjoy your night and we’ll see you in March and we’ll see whose still challenging for promotion.

Probably both to be fair.

EF look a handy side when they really get going.

Today has marked us out as strong candidates for the league. Winning a tough away game and scoring five goals in the process with the amount of missing players we have was fantastic.

Loving going back through the comments pre match from the Fife faithful. Proves they do talk some pish. And ScottyDog you missed Daniel Armstrong from your list making it seven Super John had unavailable for selection. And then we still stick five past them on their own patch. When have we done that before!!!!!!!. Scenes after the fifth remind me how good it is to follow the Rovers. Yes there’s hard times but today makes it all worthwhile. Thanks to the management and the players for really being up for it today. And to my ‘local’ football club - you really do need to get some new string to tie the two cans together you have as a tannoy system. COYR.

Going in to this without: Lewis Vaughan, Stephen Anderson, Michael Miller, Ross Matthews, Lewis Allan and Ian Davidson I genuinely feared the worst, however even without SIX first team players we totally outclassed this team of cloggers for the first 45 mins.  At 4-1 we stopped playing football and against a better team would likely have paid the price.

East Fife seemed quite content to boot the living shit out of Reagan Hendry at every opportunity but kudos to Ryan Wallace who bailed his right-back out of a nailed on booking by distracting the ref by going toe to toe with Hendry. What a very special case Mr Wallace is! He is in a league of his own when it come to being a fanny.....well on the park at least, the king of the fannies must be the bespectacled fat clown who was continually erupting behind Darren Young, all hail to thee Speccy king Fud!  And speaking of Young I cant wait to tune in to his post match interview to hear what absolute pish he will be spouting tonight.

Right that's them back in their box and the natural order restored, I look forward to another few decades of peace.

Lol this might even be roaring back # 3  :P
