Just thought I'd post the Domino that shows 6-2 twice.

63 years since Dundee won by 4 goals in a derby. United did it just last week.

I would say at least the next one is at Dens but United have won more derbies there as well.

Can we make Jimmy Mac the guest of honour for the next Tannadice Derby?

I looked on the Dundee derby wiki page and there’s no mention of it.  It says our heaviest defeat to you was 5-0 in 1926 at Dens.

We beat you by the same margin at Dens in 1965.

Are you sure you’re right?  Was it League or cup?

PS do you want to know whose ahead on head-to-head wins.

We have won 78 derbies, Dundee have won 48.

Yeah I new you were well ahead. Helped by your dominance being in the 4 game era and ours being when we only played twice a season, but fair do's still a great record for Utd.

12 Sep 1956 League Cup QF-1 Dens
7 – 3
20,000 Black, Christie, Chalmers(3), O'Hara, Merchant Sturrock, Reid (2)

The wiki page obviously only covers league games.

All you need is a 5-3 domino and a marker pen.

Good theory that, but doesn’t really stack up. During the ‘60s we played each other twice a season, as you say, but United won twice as many derbies as Dundee in that decade.

Yeah but you don't get 7-3 on a domino.

Just mentioning that a 5-0 defeat is a heavier defeat than 7-3 hence why it would show as the record.

Two good football teams you have there in Dundee.

Fair point, but it also shows 6-4 being the biggest combined score with no reference to 7-3.

I think the wiki page limits itself to league games.
