Has there ever been a bigger bite than this in the history of the Internet?

I dunno, I tweeted earlier that Lawrence Shankland had now scored more goals for United than club legend Claudio Caniggia had scored for Dundee, and I got so many bites I now need a tetanus shot

Great Post Sarto - Got a mention on Off the Ball too....

Unfortunately, I am worried that if Shankland keeps scoring the way he is, he will incite the ‘Caniggia effect’, in that, he brings about our Administration due to our having to sustain his goals bonus.

Pishing myself with fear about Hemminigs though.....😎

I do worry about his goal bonuses, on top of the £10k a week basic we're paying him.

what happens if its a draw.

Low scoring - Arabs laughing at Dundee's inability to score, Dees gloating about stopping $hankland.

High scoring - United fans questioning Dundee's previously iron tight defence, Dees celebrating their new found ability to score.

Any result - everybody still slags Danger

The early winter forecast isn’t looking great for him, we’d better make the most of slagging him while we can.

This certainly isn't 'must win' like some are trying to paint it, but it's certainly gonna be an emotional rollercoaster and will have an after affect on both clubs one way or another. Shite state of affairs to be this nervous almost a full week before the game.

A draw really isn't a terrible result for either team at this stage.

Seems like this Dundee team will probably be a bit better suited to a game at Tannadice than trying to break down teams who'll sit in against them. Expecting our hardest game of the season so far and really, trying to use my head and think bigger picture over the season, a draw isn't a bad result for us.

But aye, get these c***s pumped Utd.

Now we’ve disposed of the Fifers I can turn my attention to this game.

Going to be our toughest test so far, just four games into the season.  If we win we will be 7 points clear; lose and we will only be one point clear.

I hope we win.

As an aside, there were 2,550 Arabs at East End Park today.  The Dundee attendance was 5,016.

Is it the hardest? Psychologically aye, because of the crowd but in terms of quality of opposition? Not for me.

Have to say (having recently popped into ‘The Dark Blues’ Forum, (just out of curiosity like)*

I’m fucking terrified by the electric front line (ably supported by an interchanging free flowing attacking midfield), and the  tactical insight brought about by the managerial experience** that is JMcP, that the Dees have brought in, with which to destroy the Championship this year.....

* Delicious Dee Misery Porn

** Not the cheapest option (Honestly).
