The Moonster
Excellent stuff. Second half we were the only team in it, big Layne was tremendous as was Tumilty. Everyone played well really, I felt Neill had a poor first half and Langan struggled to get involved but the likes of Hutton and McKee controlled the midfield. Layne was superb though, he could be a season changer if he keeps growing in confidence.

BallochSonsFan
Really enjoyable game today. Stranraer opener was a really well taken free kick. Whether or not their forward had a hold on Neil's jersey, we can't afford Neil to react and push him. He was punished for it and his reaction earned him a deserved booking. He had a few more pushes in the game. Forwards were chancing not being caught backing into him or pulling the jersey but Neil can't assume that he won't then also get away with pushing the attacker away from him to get some separation. He needs to make smarter decisions. Other than that? We were the better team. Tumilty had a really good debut and I thought our positioning at the back was better, possibly because we had somebody whose positioning was sound and gave the other defenders somebody to watch for. Hutton made some good challenges and was generally effective grafting in the middle of the park. Connor Scullion was really good and often looked dangerous. PJ Crossan worked hard but quite a lot of what he tried didnt really come off. Biggest thing was Layne's performance. He was excellent. A proper big forward with good movement who knew how to play against the Stranraer defenders. Always a handful, he did well to score twice and his helper on Tumilty's goal was really good. If he can do that more often than not this season then he'll give us a chance most Saturdays. It was a good performance and one that'll hopefully help us build a bit of confidence.
Jan Vojáček
Report from today... Between the Terrace, being out last night and my laptop kicking off I'm away for a cry and a sleep. What a win. What a team. Never in doubt.

Jan Vojáček
Cannot put into words how much I love the noise Tumilty's goal makes when it hits the net.

It is until you consider that Layne's on the sex offenders register for touching up birds on the dancefloor.
