Discipline

I think I am correct that discipline in the Juniors now mirrors the SFA system.

Does that now mean a double Yellow is an automatic 1 game suspension ?

I believe (Could be wrong) that is the case in SFA land.

Looking at current SFA suspensions and Sean Mackie of Hibshas a 1 game suspension. He got a double yellow in the game against Rangers

Cheers

Thanks chaps. Just noticed the discipline pages must still be administered by the Junior Regions as not on the SFA lists.

Clearly the West current suspensions is probably up to date then.

The discipline page on the East region is not  showing anyone due to start a one match ban immediately.

3 players sent off in the game I was at on Wednesday so I know it is not updated.

Don't know about the East or North, but West still administers its own discipline.

2 yellows now automatic one match as mentioned above. Points system for league YC changed to just count cards. 6 YC is a match suspension + fine, 12 = 2 matches, 18=3 etc

Cup bookings are still just a fine.

They've edited that page within the past few hours and a few officials that were down on there as being suspended for a month are now no longer there.

Will the 3 of them be suspended tomorrow? [emoji4]

Before this rule change are you guys saying that in the Juniors if you got two yellows (equaling a red) in a game you wouldn't get any type of ban?
Correct. You used to need to literally kill someone to be suspended before Christmas

Or maybe just a straight red and you don't need to kill anyone.

Even some straight red card offences didn't carry a ban previously, e.g. last man foul.

I was thinking about that one. I assume that has changed too.

I can recall as few seasons ago at Beechwood Longmuir (Gk) was sent off as denying a goal scoring opportunity (last man) and our next game was the Scottish cup final. Queue every pollok fan in the crowd only worried about what the suspension rules were and not that we had put the smallest man on the park in goals - Tam Hamlon

One of them got a 3 match ban! What heinous crime did he commit? Sore one to miss 3 games so early in the season

The East region page is now updated, let's hope everyone checks before kick-off

He got a straight red for what must have been a slap on the head or the like. I believe he possibly got a second straight red for dissent. That would appear to be correct if he has 2 suspensions

Yea we got a player Two yellows in a friendly and he missed first league cup game

Chris Reid is suspended for us tomorrow after 2 yellows in sectional cup v Pollok.
