I`ve edited mine. Don't want you succumbing to a digital RSI.

They took recruitment to new depths with everything surrounding the recruitment and results of McKinnon. And that followed what Hartley had already done. Falkirk simply cannot be touched here. Whilst I agree that Falkirk’s recruitment was pretty bad, between January 12 and the end of the season, they played 15 games and picked up 21 points. In the same period, Queens picked up 8 points. That suggests our January recruitment was worse than Falkirk’s. So the contest might be a bit closer than people think.

Yes, but we didn't improperly and expensively recruit someone new to do the recruiting. We also couldn't count on the muscle lent by 4,000 fans. It's not close.

Whilst not brilliant, the team finishing 5th last season got 46. If we had replicated our form in the same period across the season, we would have finished on 19 points, which is less than half of Alloa’s total. Even factoring in bigger crowds etc. I think we were pretty close to having the biggest rabble for most of the second half of last season.

Our January recruitment was wildly unsuccessful, but only involved a handful of players. The story of our crappy season wasn't really one of recruitment, whereas Falkirk's absolutely was, particularly last summer under Hartley.
