Inanimate Carbon Rod
That would mean facing fans and being faced with potentially eggy questions. Sitting in The Sun Office getting fed Subway pieces by Scott Campbell is much easier for them. Wage thieves!Imagine giving oxygen to the fucking sun newspaper. Entire readership of mouth breathing crayon munchers.

Plus Rosyth's game was reversed. Linlithgow's cage only has spectators on one side, and no cover. Wonder if they could afford to play it at Prestonfield... Linlithgow Rose CFC v Pollok HAS indeed been (provisionally) switched to Prestonfield. LeedsPhil
"provisionally" surely just means that if Stirling University v Linlithgow Rose FC in the William Hill Scottish Cup is a draw (to be played at Stirling Albion on Sunday), then the replay of that would take priority and be occupying Prestonfield on Saturday 26th, so the CFC's Junior Cup tie would get shunted off, so not until Sunday evening can it be a 'confirmed' move.

Indeed so. If the Stirling Uni v LRFC tie is drawn, their replay will be at Prestonfield on Saturday 26th, and LRCFC v Pollok will switch to Newlandsfield!

Or is that just an old wives tale? Its half true. After three postponements it does get moved but its up to the home team to get a suitable venue, This could be but not necessarily asking to move to the opponents ground

glensmad
Try telling TJ that. When we played Girvan a few years ago they were given 4 chances to play the game at home. In week 5 they were told to move it to a neutral venue, and they chose Ardrossan. That was off too. In week 6 the SJFA ruled that the game had to be played on a pitch that would definitely be playable, so it was moved to Largs.Predictably that ended in a draw. Weeks 7 & 8 saw the replay postponed at Rutherglen, and finally the game was settled in week 9 after another draw and a penalty shoot-out which went to sudden death !So no, there is no rule where the game switches to the opposition home venue if it is postponed three times.

Yet he told me on 2 seperate occasions a couple of years apart that after 2 postponements we had 1 last chance to get our game on otherwise he would switch it. Agree there is no rule as such but there was no consistency in his decisions either.

Aye. I remember some a hole some years back sharing a pic of Loch park from straight after a flood making out it was that week which had normal rainy days throughout

Another semi-literate tweet from the SJFA, I see, as it's the DRAW for the 4th Round they're announcing, not R4 itself!
