The latter. She was highly strung. 😉

As long as you didn't have to shout for new balls...

Did she make a racket in the bedroom or something?

Did Wimbledon win, lose or draw on the day?

I had great tickets for Centre Court. A close friend who was a member of the All England club gave them to me.

That friend sadly passed away a few years ago at only 44.

Still feeling like  a smart arse now? Or just a sad and bitter loser as usual?

At least he didn't die at only 44.

Rather that, than try and sound like a superior c**t - like you.

That is quite the reaction to an innocuous attempt at a joke.

Wouldn't be P and B without a meltdown from a Walter Mitty fantasist tbh.

Brilliant. Reminds of school when you'd say "yer maw" to someone and they'd retort with "my maw's deid so jokes on you".

I dont get the jump to that at all? In what way is friend who died years ago relevant?

Bizarre scenes.

That should become the go-to for shutting down P&B arguments

It would but it died a few years ago at only 44.
I am sorry your friend died, BB, but jeez it was a wee joke pretending you took some lassy (the chairman’s daughter) to Wimbledon football not Wimbledon tennis. Quite the leap.

I'm sure a requirement to join the All England club is to be a nonce so probably best that he's dead. You got off easy on that one.
