Agree that McKenna and O’Brien come in for Wilson and Spence

I’d maybe even be tempted to bring in golf for stewart - I’m not convinced by him yet, gave away a lot on Saturday and seemed to get worse as the game progressed.

Stewart was running about like a headless chicken on Saturday at times (similar to Spence) wasting energy then was f****d by 70 mins

Would be happy with a point, been to Inverness many times but never been to a game at the stadium

Looking forward to hear the accent as it’s actually hilarious.

Well most people would need a feckin interpreter to some of the latest posts ?

This Saturday we face Arbroath in our opening home league match of the new season.  This Saturday’s game is almost exactly 25 years, to the date, of our first league match, which was also against Arbroath. The match finished 5-2 to ICTFC with Alan Hercher scoring a hat-trick.

Along with the celebrations for the 25th Anniversary of the club,  we will remember, Caley Thistle legend, Alan Hercher. Alan tragically passed away last year and he was the first ever captain of the club.

Alan will be remembered in various ways this Saturday, there will be the opening of the Alan Hercher enclosure in the North Stand, there will be a minute of applause before the match in memory of Alan and all the players, Directors, staff and fans we have lost across the first 25 years.

Friends and family of Alan’s will be in the P&J Lounge for the match and some members of the first Caley Jags team will be pitch side for the tribute.

The Caley Thistle players will wear the special edition ICT25 Strip for this match to celebrate the 25 anniversary of our first match and each player will be wear an armband with the number 4 on it, Hercher’s squad number, as a tribute to him.

Wouldn’t read too much into records when we have barely played ICT regularly for about 15 years.

We had a shite record at Raith until Hammy won the league there last season.

Sounds daft with it being August but is there any chance this game in doubt due to the weather up north? Pretty constant rain all day today and a yellow weather warning for the highlands

New surface seeded and drainage put in over the closed season. To be honest this deluge will be some test for it. It's been heavy constant for hours now, will have to wait and see what the official verdict is.

Fingers crossed.

Been heavy spells of rain now over the last three days. There was a couple of hours a couple of days ago where stv tweeted that we had the same rainfall as the entire month of August last year in that spell. Not sure if that means much as it could have been really dry last year. My back garden is really squelchy now but it won’t have the drainage of the stadium. If it keeps raining like it is overnight then it must be at risk surely. Hopefully it’s on. looking forward to our first home league game of the season

Decent morning so far. Bit grey but not too wet looks ok for the game.

Would rather we played McKenna and Doris upfront.Screenshot_20190810-142918_Twitter.jpeg

Looks like this is going to be our starting 11 for the time being.

M Mc will have to wait for his chance which he will take once it comes along.
