"Naw, let's just outcunt them." I made this post in the Celtic European thread as a bit of a joke, but at times it genuinely does seem that they try to outdo each other in the stupidity stakes. 1 hour ago, IggyStooge said: UEFA have certainly stepped up their intolerance of intolerance since 2006. Perhaps the SFA will get there in due course. No sniggering. ' McBeth said that, if clubs did not take sufficient action, the SFA could impose fines, close grounds or impose suspensions. ' John McBeth was also the man who called out the corruption in FIFA years before anything was done about it, but got hung out to dry by journalists and "football men" here. When you look back at his comments in that article, is it that much of a surprise that he got no backing from the SFA? Celtic say fans infiltrated by Hammarby troublemakers who sparked ugly clashes with Swedish police during AIK match I know. What did I tell you. Was just about to post this link. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49517810 Scrolling down, Neil Lennon says he couldn’t see anything, he was on the touchline, and Celtic fans are impeccable. Now, simply scroll to the flares photo. Maybe Neil has a point. How anyone could spot that from the dugout areas is a very good question, it’s so hard to make out. Fair enough Neil.... you fcuking walloper.
VictorOnopko
Well, Sweden is well known for its volatile, reactionary state apparatus, so it was definitely all for no reason at all. Errrr...... The chap in the army jacket and balaclava was definitely only there to watch his team. Maybe he had heard Sweden is really cold? Best fans in the world, got a UEFA award for being pure brillyint, small minority of troublemakers, the other side are worse than us, etc etc...
Estragon
Can't believe we had so many Hammarby fans at RP last season and didn't hear anything about it, we could have put on some meatballs for them at the canteens. Honestly, this is the kind of shite they used to laugh at Rangers for. What a fucking embarrassment.
Big Rider
Did the Hammarby troublemakers infiltrate the Cellic fans by wearing those geeky green kagoules

Looked a lot like the polis/security towards the bottom were hoping someone would start so they could wade in. The one with the black sunglasses on was talking on his radio and to a couple of the other police and then pushes himself forward into the fan in front of him, then opens up. Was the shitiest football riot I have ever seen.

Errrr...... Sweden surprisingly has quite a problem with Hooligans. Im not saying Celtic fans were innocent at all but generally you find those countries with hooligans elements have quite zealous police to counter it.

Plenty of evidence around Europe that the police are quite happy to charge and baton anyone if they are in the mood. The picture is the usual of loads of shouting and finger pointing fans whilst a policeman is laying in to a guy that appears to be isolated. As ever, one photograph means nothing. Either Celtic fans were at it and had it coming or the local polis fancy a bit.
christinanade
Think you'll find it was liverpool fans that caused this. If you look closely up and left from the cold fellow in the balaclava, you'll even see the one and only jurgen klopp in a baseball cap getting in on the action.

I've been to Sweden dozens of times and watched AIK, Djurgårdens and Hammarby a number of times - with my most recent ex father in law being a huge Ah Ee Ko fan and teaching my son AIK chants and taking him to games. East Fife vs Cowdenbeath has a bigger hooligan problem than you'd get in Stockholm.
