McKinnon has taken a better group of players than he had last season, and made them worse....but in the seaside league 1, it’s enough to put us top. And yet wee arbroath are doing ok in the championship, livy went up twice in a row and Ayr came up and are doing well again, meanwhile raith are still down, we've joined them and partick could easily be next. Ayr, Arbroath and Livingston were all much better teams when they were in league one than the teams in this league. Although they won the league on the final day due to Raith mucking it up, they scored countless goals. Arbroath were miles ahead of anyone last year and have a good manager. Livingston won the league at a canter. champions Posted November 3, 2019 Share Posted November 3, 2019 This season was an ideal opportunity to get the fans back onside from a footballing perspective. It was obvious we were going to have the biggest budget so it was a great chance to put together a side which attacks, creates chances and are fairly exciting to watch, we should have been aiming to build momentum and a feel good factor going into the championship if we got promoted. Yes we're currently top, but we're bumbling along with no real game plan or fluency.
