So McBurnie himself, the manager and the entire Scotland squad agreeing that there was nothing in it is evidence that there was something in it?

You’ve just quoted a report that literally says there was no reason for him to apologise or to question his commitment.

Do you keep up with the news, how's this looking now :D

Where has it been said that McBurnie apologised?

^^^this pretty much ends the matter for me. He's clearly commited and annoyed at the whole thing.
That's all that was really needed.

I didn't notice any negative reaction to him on Friday night (I missed the first seven minutes).

He ran about a bit, played a big part in the goal, but generally didn't impress (along with the rest of the team). A total meh performance.

He was definitely booed when his name was read out. Quite vociferously, to be honest.

To a lesser extent, Jack got the same treatment and, bizarrely, O'Donnell too - I assume they were Ayr fans who are too fucking stupid to realise that he's got nothing to do with Kilmarnock when representing Scotland.

Absolutely embarrassing.

That's bizarre.

Certainly nothing during the game, and he was applauded for a few closing down efforts.

Think that’s good enough for most people. He’s a young lad that got caught up in saying things he regrets saying or that were taken out of context. We all made mistakes when we were that age and many of us continue to do so. Let’s move on from it.

He ran about a bit, played a big part in the goal, but generally didn't impress (along with the rest of the team).

That’s what worries me. It’s another below par performance from the lad and it’s not been his first. With no Griffiths, Fletcher and Naismith being injured, it was a big chance for the lad to stake his claim and that’s the best he could offer. Some will argue he had no service, and there is truth in that, but what he did do was awful. He obviously has talent, to score the amount of goals he has and to have the price tag he has got, but we’re just not seeing it.

He was definitely booed when his name was read out. Quite vociferously, to be honest.

I was sitting in section C2 and did not hear any booing never mind that of which you could class as “vociferous”. The odd individual shout of him being hopeless but nothing more.

I think it's hard to be too critical of his performance. He really had nothing to go at. He wasn't in any way good, but I think you're being a bit harsh.

Mcburnie busy weekend , scoring on Friday , messages from porn stars and now stone island head to toe in the away end with the Swansea fans in Cardiff.

Looking menacing hopefully he isn’t mistaken for a trouble making fan.
