No generic ones like lord of the flies or catcher in the rye , just some book you came across accidentally loved?

Geek Love by Katherine Dunn. Tells the story of a family of circus freaks, from one of the daughters’ perspective.

Anything by Conn Iggulden. Historical fiction series based around Ghengis Khan, Caesar and the war of the Roses.

Like the look of the conqueror series might head down to the library give it a whirl

The Man Who Was Thursday by GK Chesterton is probably the one that I liked the most out of books I have picked solely on the title.

The Last Of Us by Rob Ewing

5 school kids trapped on a Scottish island after a plague has killed all the adults, running out of food and insulin.

And like the above poster, Maribou Stork Nightmares. Amazing, brutal book.
