Kilmarnock vs Hello Sevco/Bye Bye Rangers

Recommended Posts

Absolute tin pot behaviour from both sides of the Old Firm at Killie this year. Invading the pitch and damaged seats due to both of Glasgow’s “finest”.

Killie haven’t covered themselves in glory either. That ticketing shambles yesterday could have turned very nasty and dangerous. Don’t know why the turnstile operators couldn’t have just ripped the stubs from tickets if the scanners weren’t working.

The scanners were working. The problem arose because Rangers fans tried to use forged tickets which the scanners duly picked up on.  Killie were totally blameless yesterday.

Only way to punish the now regular pitch invasions is to make the club buy the full allocation of tickets and then the club not be allowed to sell them on to the hoards.

The host team don't lose income,

It financially punishes the club,

the hoards don't get to go to away teams.

if this was announced for the next three away games it might get a reaction.

The pitch invasions and general behaviour is unacceptable and the SPFL/SFA must act now or the season will just get worse and worse. Stamp it out now.

It is a good idea although it will never work.

I'm sorry, were all those folk trying to use fake tickets?

If not - how can Killie be blameless when there is that many people bottlenecked itlnto such a small space?

This is the only way we will get them sorted! The softly softly approach allows them to do what the heck they like with mob rule winning. Either the offending clubs are punished with a points deduction or games behind closed doors or we send in the heavy mob.

Exactly. Time for pussyfooting is now over and the clubs cant say they havent been warned. Time for the Scottish Government to move in and demand ground closures for culprits and point deductions. If the latter is brought in, I  reckon the real fans will move in and police this themselves to get the problem solved when they see their club getting hammered

Think this is fair. The roadshows Scottish football fans are being treated to by two particular clubs are getting worse season on season.

Sadly, we musnt forget the role the clubs themselves play in this though. The stoking of the rhetoric by Fatty Traynor at Statement FC has finally begun to be followed by the other cheek. They are fillling their fans with delsuions of entitlement and victimhood, then they do nothing as the fans respond in the terraces. The clubs and the fans are as bad as eachother, but its the rest of us that suffer. We are well on the road to the politicians getting heavily involved, but unfortunately we are further down the road towards something really, really bad happening. All of the warning signs are there.

They weren't bottle necked into a small space. There is a huge area outside the turnstiles.

Dele, we get it, you hate Killie. You also hate Rab B and Liverpool so you know what happens when people turn up without tickets, or with counterfeit tickets, and try to force their way into a football stadium.

Also, if you have ever been to Rugby Park you would know there is a wide road which is a big space until people start pushing those in front to try & create an issue.
