Arbroath vs QOTS

Recommended Posts

Saw enough on Saturday to believe we can get a result on Saturday. We can play a bit and hope the goals can be spread about a bit  The keeper and the back line have the ability to produce a sound platform and playing together week on week will help them develop.  Can't manage to be at Arbroath but hope to read good positive posts here.

QoS are a bit of a bogey side for us over the years.

Last time we were in the same division was unhappy reading.

16 Mar 13 (h) 1-1 Euan Smith

5 Jan 13 (a) 1-5 Steven Doris

17 Nov 12 (h) 2-3 Steven Doris 2p

14 Oct 12 (a) 1-2 Ramsden cup aet Alex Keddie

1Sep 12 (a) 0-6

Last win 20 Mar 01 (h) 5-2 Stevie Mallan, Paul Brownlee (2), Colin McKinnon, Phil Nixon (og)

Time to get a good result against these westerners.

5-1 game was some game. Pretty sure we went in at half-time 1-0 down, and with Mark Durnan sent off.

That 2nd half is genuinely the best half of football I've ever seen a team put in against us. Down to 10 men, 1-0 down, and come out after half time and play a 3-3-3 formation and run right over the top of us   :(

I remember our 5th goal when McKenna played a 1-2 off your centre backs crown jewels to be left with an open goal . Quality funny moment but no for your player

Really looking forward to this. Expecting a tough game but it’s a fixture we should absolutely be looking to win. Arbroath of course will feel exactly the same. Given a choice of an opening day game at home to QOS with the added bonus of Dobbie being out injured I’d imagine they would have been hard pressed to find a more attractive fixture from their point of view.

Edit to add by attractive I mean with regards to picking up points
