Blootoon87
What is factual is that Falkirk are a League One team. They're there on merit, as are Peterhead.

It really did, more than any Falkirk fan has really been guilty of. The reality is that Falkirk aren't just another side that's gone down. They're an unusually big club at that level, and they're fielding a side that would be considered strong in the League above. I'm quite sure they will indeed walk the League. -

Our best players are only just now coming back or are still out from long term injury. The same happened the season before. On Saturday at Dumbarton Hendry our playmaker was fouled the whole game - at one point he was fouled 5 times in a row by the same player before the ref took action. Yes, we're talking fact, what "fact" are you on about?

To clarify, our Scottish Cup finals were in 1927, 1938 (Winners) and 1950. Our League Cup finals were in 1947 (Winners), 1949 (Winners) and 1953 (Winners). All wins were outright wins, with no penalty shoot outs. What are the Raith Rover cup finals, (penalty shoot outs not counted)?
TxRover
Comparing club results, etc, doesn’t change basic, immutable facts: - Others teams have tried the quality over quantity route out of League One, and a good number have failed (ask us how). - Ray’s preferred method of play is, as some have noted, a bit tedious (ask us how we know). - Referees and Grounds, in general, drop in quality as you go down in the leagues, consequently a more skilled player can be handicapped in a way that wasn’t present in a higher league (yep, we can explain that one too). - The quality of the bridies varies unpredictably between leagues. - There’s an argument that bottom level and aging Championship level players on a League One team have little incentive to help win the League. Young players, and high performing League One level players, are the ones likely to believe they can perform at a higher level, when the dross of the Championship may actually fear not being resigned if they get promoted (ask us why someone might think that). On the whole, this game was potentially a brutal reality check for Falkirk fans, but only time will tell. Ray isn’t going to change, the players won’t magically change from timid mice to galloping horses, and the agricultural tactics of League One will remain. With Ray, Falkirk will likely at least make the playoffs, with a more daring coach, they should probably win the League, but if wishes were horses, we’d all ride. Now, back to the MC/MSG show till next Friday. Edited August 4, 2019 by TxRover
