He got a bad injury in our play-off final and only made his return in the Betfred cup groups (so missed all of pre season basically bar light work), coming on as a sub in the first 2 games and starting the 3rd where he looked nowhere near fit or ready. He is one of the first names on the teamsheet without a doubt so just depends if he's fit to start on Saturday yet. While we're on the injury subject, Duffie irks out of challenges quite a lot now which is probably a result of the knee(?) problems he's had in the past. There's been times he's looked terrified in possesion too and doesn't really know what to do with the ball. But having said all that, I personally still think he's decent enough option for L2/L1 level. Will probably be on the bench when we have all our midfielders back available and Cuddihy goes back to RB. Edited July 28, 2019 by C.
